Though Malbazar is not famous tourist destination but still it is the gateway to important tourist destination of Eastern Dooars such as Gorumara National Park; Chapramari Wildlife reserve; Jhalong , Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola. Regarding Malbazar it can be said that it is a very busy city but still it has a very calm ear soothing atmosphere around the city. Malbazar is about 55 kms from Siliguri. If travelers want to have a day in a picnic mood then obviously they can enjoy a great picnic at Kumlai.

How to reach: Malbazar is well connected by road as well as by rail. The New Mal Station. By road it is connected with two well populated cities such as siliguri and Jailpaigudi.

JHALONG:

This lovely tourist destination is just about 99 kms from Siliguri and well connected with other cities within North Bengal. This calm and endearing city is situated on the bank of Jaldhaka River on the way to BINDU. Jaldhaka Hydro Electric project is major attraction here. Also some variety of birds as Eurasian Wryneck, Crested Kingfisher, Brown Dipper, Hodgson’s Redstart, Slaty-backed Forktail, Little Forktail, Rufous-necked Laughing thrush is noticeable here.
